Budapest was our first destination in Hungary in August 2021, a country we had never been to before. We flew there from Basel with EasyJet and explored the city on foot for six days, on both sides of the Danube.

Between the Parliament, the Fisherman’s Bastion, the Shoes on the Danube Bank, a boat ride on the Danube and a free walking tour of the Castle District, the posts of this trip came about. On the last morning we took the train on to Vienna.
