About us

We're Annina & Nicolas, a couple from Switzerland who love travelling to the far north and always keep a camera at hand.

PIXELS & TRAVELS is our shared travel journal. This is where we document our trips, from day trips to multi-week road trips through the Nordics, and share what we learn on the road: The best photo spots, honest tips, and the occasional really good meal. Every now and then we venture on a short trip south, to Indonesia for example, but we usually head back to the far north soon after.

Photography is the thread that runs through everything. We plan trips around the light, get up far too early for sunrises, and hunt for corners beyond the postcard views. The looks we develop along the way will soon be available as Lightroom presets in our shop, each year's best images as a calendar, and the very best as prints on museum-quality paper, canvas, Alu-Dibond or acrylic glass.
