In September 2025 we spent a good two weeks on Bali and Lombok. We started in Amed in the east of Bali, with trips to rice terraces, Mount Agung and the water palace Tirta Gangga, and then moved on to Ubud.

We took the ferry across to Lombok, saw sea turtles while snorkelling, went to the Gili Islands and visited beaches in the south of the island. For trips on the spot we always rented a scooter, and for longer distances with suitcases we booked a car with a driver. The posts of this trip are collected here, day by day.
