Henån - Hindås

We spend the morning in the lovely accommodation and only drive on around noon. Our very likeable hosts have given us a few tips for beautiful coastal villages in the area. So we discard the destinations we had looked up and first drive to Hälleviksstrand, a small fishing village on the southern west coast. From there we have a nice view of the sea with the idyllic boathouses, and we walk along charming little lanes between the boathouses. We like the peaceful-looking colourful houses a lot.

Before we head to the next coastal village on our list, our stomachs start to rumble and we look for a take-away restaurant. We find one, the Fröken Trulls, and are surprised by its size and the number of visitors. We have rarely seen so many people in one place in these times. The restaurant is something very special, because you can not only buy food there, it is at the same time also an antiques and junk shop and a nursery. The antiques are not just merchandise but also serve as decoration. People eat at the old tables, chairs and sofas, all of which can be bought, and there is seating in the lovely garden next to the greenhouses as well. So while we wait for our vegetable pizza we can look at the antiques. We like the food very much. It is the first time we have gone to a restaurant. With full stomachs we continue to Mollösund, another fishing village by the sea a little further south, with a beautiful harbour. We like this village especially, and the weather keeps getting better until we have nothing but sunshine.

We then decide to drive straight to our accommodation in Hindås near Göteborg, as we still want to shop at an ICA Maxi on the way. The new accommodation is a loft with a balcony and a view of the lake. The hosts welcomed us nicely and showed us everything. The loft is modern and we feel very comfortable here. In the evening Annina reads a little on the balcony, Nicolas edits his photos and for dinner there is pesto bread and two different salads.
