This page sets out what applies when you buy presets, calendars or prints from us, from the order to the delivery.
Scope and seller
These terms and conditions apply to all orders in the shop on pixelsandtravels.com. The seller and your contracting party are Annina & Nicolas, PIXELS & TRAVELS, Basel, Switzerland. What we sell
In the shop we sell digital and printed products. What exactly comes with a product is stated in its description in the shop.
- Lightroom presets as a download in a ZIP file.
- Wall calendars with our photographs, printed to order and shipped by our partner Gelato.
- Fine art prints of our photographs in various sizes and materials, also printed to order and shipped by Gelato.
Conclusion of the contract
The products in the shop are not yet a binding offer. You choose what you want to buy and go to checkout. Payment takes place on the page of our payment provider Stripe. Before you complete it, you see all products, the shipping costs and the total there. You can correct your entries or go back to the shop.
By clicking the pay button at Stripe you place a binding order. The contract is concluded as soon as the payment succeeds. You then see our confirmation page, and Stripe sends you a receipt by email. We also send you an order confirmation and, for presets, the download link by email, through the mail server of our host Hostinger.
The contract language is German or English, depending on the language in which you order. We store the details of your order, but not a separate copy of these terms for each order. You can view, save and print them on this page at any time.
Prices and payment
All prices are final prices in Swiss francs. Shipping costs are added for printed products. They depend on the destination country and, for prints, on the shipping method, and they are shown before you pay. You will find the current amounts under Shipping & returns.
You pay in advance through Stripe. The payment page shows which payment methods are available, for example credit and debit cards or TWINT. The amount is charged when you complete the order.
Cross-border deliveries may incur import taxes and carrier fees. They are not included in the price and are paid by the recipient.
Digital products and licence
Presets are ready to download on the confirmation page as soon as you have paid. The link is valid for 30 days from the purchase. Download the file within that time and keep it safe. If the link has expired, you can ask for a new one with the email address of your order on the page Download expired. It is again valid for 30 days. The presets work in Adobe Lightroom. The software itself is not part of the purchase.
With the purchase you receive a simple, non-transferable right to use the presets on your own images, privately and commercially. The images you edit with them are yours. You may not pass on or sell the preset files themselves or build them into a product of your own.

Prints and calendars
Prints and calendars are only printed for you after you order. Our partner Gelato prints and ships them on our behalf. For the poster version of a motif, a simplified, flat rendering is created automatically from our photograph.
Screens show colours and brightness differently. Small differences between the preview in the browser, including the wall preview, and the finished print are therefore possible and are not a defect. The same goes for the natural texture of paper, canvas and the other materials.
Because every piece is made to order, we do not exchange or take back prints and calendars, unless the law provides otherwise. The statutory right of withdrawal for customers in the EU and in Liechtenstein remains unaffected, see Right of withdrawal.
Delivery
We deliver to Switzerland, Liechtenstein and the countries of the EU. Delivery areas, shipping costs and delivery times are listed under Shipping & returns. Delivery times are estimates. If a delivery is noticeably late, get in touch with us.
We bear the risk of a parcel being lost or damaged until it reaches you.
Defects and transport damage
If a product arrives damaged or faulty, please let us know as soon as possible, ideally within 14 days of receipt, with your order reference and a photo of the damage, at hello@pixelsandtravels.com. We then have the product reprinted free of charge and send it to you without shipping costs. If a reprint is not possible, we refund the purchase price.
If a download will not open or a file is damaged, we send you a working file.
Your statutory rights in case of defects remain unaffected.
Liability
We are liable for damage we cause intentionally or through gross negligence. We are not liable for slight negligence, as far as the law permits. In any case we are fully liable for injury to life, body and health and wherever mandatory law such as product liability law provides for it.
Data protection
How we process your data when you order is explained in the privacy policy.
Governing law and jurisdiction
Swiss law applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG). If you live in the EU or in Liechtenstein, you also keep the protection of the mandatory consumer protection rules of your country of residence.
The place of jurisdiction is Basel, unless the law provides otherwise. As a consumer you can also bring proceedings at your place of residence.
