Today we enjoy the freedom of, for once, not changing our Airbnb, not driving and not having to shop.

The morning does start a little stressfully, as we learn that after our arrival in Switzerland we have to go into quarantine for 10 days and are not even allowed to get vaccinated during that time, but the rest of the day is relaxed.

We treat ourselves to a delicious breakfast and go for a walk in the nearby surroundings.

A nice path through the forest takes us to the sandy beach. It almost feels as if we were at the sea, but the smell of salt is missing. As it is a rather overcast and windy day today, the lake is correspondingly rough and the waves stir up the bottom. We would rather not swim in it, as we would be guaranteed to come out of the lake covered in mud, but it is an interesting photo subject anyway.

In the afternoon there are a few calls with family and friends, after which we treat ourselves to an aperitif on our balcony with a view of the lake.

There are truffle and habanero chili chips, with a non-alcoholic mojito. As there is no real alcohol to be bought in the shops here, we have to make do with that. Afterwards there are delicious tortellini in a spinach, cream and cheese sauce with Pulled Oumph! Stripes.
