We begin the day with the drive to Eilean Donan Castle, a beautiful castle on a picturesque little island. On the way there, we have a minor accident: An overtaking vehicle clips our wing mirror. Fortunately, nothing worse has happened, and the scratches on our car are barely visible.
After our visit to the castle, we continue on to the Isle of Skye and make our way to the Old Man of Storr. It’s an impressive experience to see the stunning landscape and the striking rock formation, but it is very windy, which makes the hike somewhat strenuous.
Then we drive to a charming town to refuel and do some shopping. Afterwards, we head on to our Airbnb, a bed and breakfast. We are having our vegetarian breakfast as early as 7 am tomorrow, because we have a full day planned.
We are looking forward to tomorrow and are excited to see what else Scotland has to offer!
