Today we treated ourselves to a lie-in for the first time, as we were a bit exhausted from yesterday’s late-night arrival. Then we went to the hotel’s breakfast buffet and fortified ourselves with croissants, scrambled eggs and knäckebröd for the day ahead. In the morning it was rainy, so we went shopping in a few stores. We picked up takeaway food from an Asian restaurant and wanted to eat it at the harbour. So we rented an electric scooter and rode all the way to the harbour. Or tried to… We had trouble ending the ride, because our destination was in a no-parking zone for the scooter. So we had to ride a much bigger detour and pay more (it is charged per minute). All in all it was a turbulent start to Annina’s scooter career, but still very amusing. In the end we arrived at the harbour and could enjoy our food there under the hungry gazes of the Stockholm seagulls. Afterwards we walked to a few photo spots that we had noted down on Google Maps. Exhausted, we arrived at the hotel in the evening and ordered a really nice vegan bowl via UberEats.
