We take it easy again this morning, because the weather isn’t great. We have an unhurried breakfast and carry on editing our photos. Around noon a few rays of sunshine appear, so we head straight out and do the nearest easy hike, up Knuten. It is truly the easiest hike we have done in Norway so far: It takes just under 15 minutes, and there is actually a recognisable path! The view from the top is lovely. We look out over the village of Mefjordvær, the sea and misty mountains.
The sun disappears as quickly as it came. It starts to drizzle, and we head back down from Knuten. On the way back we stop at the Senja Lounge café, where our host works. We chat with her for a bit and, after some shopping at the only grocery shop for miles, drive back to our accommodation. Annina joins a work meeting, while Nicolas edits photos and videos. We cook a red curry together and then carry on editing our photos. Tomorrow we have to leave quite early, so we tidy everything up and get ready for a long day.
