A whole day of travel by train and bus from Copenhagen via Gothenburg and Oslo to Hamar, where swarming mosquitoes end our planned dinner by the Viking ship.
A day of nothing but travel: By train from Copenhagen via Gothenburg and Oslo to Oslo Airport, then by rail replacement bus to Hamar in Norway. Our planned dinner by the lake at the Viking ship ends in a retreat from swarming mosquitoes, so we eat comfortably at the Airbnb instead, with Stranger Things for dessert.
Today we have a long day of travelling ahead of us. First we take the train from Copenhagen to Gothenburg (Sweden). There we change to the train towards Oslo. In Oslo we get on the train to the airport. From there we take the rail replacement bus (engineering works) to Hamar, where our Airbnb is.
We arrive at about 20:30 and decide to eat the dinner we bought on the way (vegan BBQ wraps) by the lake at the Viking ship marked on Google Maps. We ride there on a Bolt e-scooter, only to find that the place is swarming with mosquitoes and a relaxed dinner is out of the question. So we ride back to our accommodation, where we eat and then finish watching the second season of Stranger Things.
