Norrköping - Kista

After a short night, we are on our way again to our last accommodation near Stockholm. We have breakfast indoors, because our host’s construction workers have arrived outside. We check out soon, as we have a long drive ahead of us. In Norrköping we make a short stop to look at the cactus park in the city centre. It is very beautiful and full of detail, but not quite finished yet.

On the drive we make another stop at a Coop and a Dollarstore. There are a great many people there and the traffic is correspondingly hectic. There is also a lot of traffic when we arrive in the Stockholm area, which makes driving rather hectic, especially as we have set up two navigation systems at the same time, which give us contradictory instructions about where to turn. On top of that we get stuck in a jam because of an accident and arrive at the Scandic Hotel in Kista later than planned. Our room in the hotel is nice and we feel very comfortable. We even have a small kitchen built into the room and can charge the car. After unpacking and resting for a moment, we go to the nearby mall and find ourselves among (too) many people again. We only take a closer look at the restaurants in the mall and then we would rather get back to our hotel quickly, since the impressions and shops are so numerous. Nicolas goes to the hotel gym, Annina has a call. In the evening we order food with Uber Eats to our hotel room once again. Nicolas has Indian and Annina has Thai. Since our time here in Sweden is slowly but surely coming to an end, we do a provisional trial pack after dinner to find out whether everything fits in the suitcases. It does, but only just barely… We feel a bit reassured and can enjoy the rest of the evening watching a series.
