Trondheim - Bodø
Almost ten hours by train from Trondheim to Bodø, in premium class with free coffee, wifi and panoramic views. Outside, forests, fjords and waterfalls roll past, and even a few moose make an appearance. Punctual arrival included. DB could learn a thing or two.
Today our alarm clock rings before 7 am, because we have a long train journey ahead of us today, almost 10 hours to be exact. Naturally, we buy food for the whole journey. We get our breakfast, lunch and dinner directly from a large shop at Trondheim station. We take a direct train from Trondheim up to Bodø. The train ride is very beautiful, as the scenery outside changes back and forth between dense forests, lakes, fjords, waterfalls and we even spot a few moose. We edit our photos and videos and continue to write our blog, all the while being “distracted” by the beautiful scenery and letting our eyes wander through the beautiful landscape as it passes us by.
With our first-class Interrail ticket, we travel in the premium class, which means that we get free coffee, tea, hot chocolate and breakfast. We also have comfortable seats, wifi and power outlets. That makes for a pleasant journey. We arrive in Bodø without any problems and without any noticeable delay - DB can take a leaf out of their book! Our Comfort Hotel Bodø is the most beautiful of our accommodations so far. It is modern and beautifully designed and offers us breakfast and a fitness center.
